Museum of Natural History Berlin

Redesign of 4 halls of the Permanent Exhibition

The aim is a holistic representation of animate and inanimate nature in the overall context of their development, from the solar nebula, about the origin of the earth and man. The exhibition design considers itself a mediator between science and visitors. Guiding principles and design ideas are shaped by respect for the historic monument, in front of the unique objects of fascination of the originals, with the intention of making the invisible visible and to create “islands of knowledge.” The preferred concept is an integrated media approach, any use technical devices like computer screens or keyboards are hidden. The technique “disappears” behind the exhibits and productions.
